Welcome to our web site. I hope that as you browse our cyber home, you will come to understand our mission well enough to want to become involved in some way. Or, that you come to understand that Nanotechnology is a technology revolution that will dwarf the computer revolution and will transform virtually all industries.
The US government predicts that by the year 2013 one of every seven jobs in the USA will be dependent upon nanotechnology-enabled products, processes, or services. It also predicts that this will represent over $1.0 Trillion (USD) in business. Ignoring or underestimating the coming dramatic changes in national and global businesses is like ignoring the potential of a hurricane like Katrina by residents of Louisiana. At best it will significantly affect your welfare -- at worst, it may kill your career or business or you.
This is why RINTek was conceived and is being implemented. One aspect of our mission is to create awareness of the possibilities associated with nanotechnology both economically and ecologically. This is our education focus. Focus on organizations, communities, educators, and most of all, youth. The second aspect of our mission is to support and perform research in the area of toxicology of engineered nanoparticles as they interact with living cells.
To accomplish our goals, we need lots of partners and sponsors to provide funding as well as technical and educational resources. I ask that you please look carefully at the information about us and our plans and progress and then contact us. If we can help you or your organization to embrace and benefit from the coming changes, we relish the opportunity. Likewise, if you agree with our positions and programs and believe you can help further one or more of our goals, we welcome your support. Enjoy and learn, then take action.
